While some lucky few of us may be enjoying the onset of Winter, the rest of us are wondering why Christmas has decided to be grill weather rather than the season for yule logs and hot cocoa. An apt pre-order, then, is Alphamax's upcoming Akari from the adorable YuruYuri, ready to hit the beach.

While she may not be available until June, you can get your order in now and realize she probably wouldn't be chilly even if she hit shelves tomorrow. As far as appeal goes, it's hard not to like the cuteness permeating the series from start to finish, a cuteness that definitely shows in this figure.

Akari is captured to a tee, even if the swimsuit and inner tube pose has now become the de facto summer standard. You could do worse with ¥6,800 though, and hopefully we'll see the rest of the cast at some point as well.
