For many of you, the summer heat has been pretty harsh in recent weeks. Asides from free air conditioning, the best thing to beat the heat is to kick off as much clothes as you can legally get away with and hit the Beach. I get the feeling that the King of the Britons shares my belief, because if the news of these two Beach Queens figures is any indication, Saber is in no hurry in relinquishing her reign over the beaches just yet.

In addition to the re-release of the original Beach Queen Saber, Wave has rolled out their Beach Queens Saber Lily. The design of Saber Lily's swimsuit is pretty similar to that of the re-released Saber, though Lily's bikini top does a better job at lifting and separating. On the other hand, Saber Lily's pose easily sets it apart from the other incarnations, as that running poses makes her one of the most energetic Beach Queens yet.

Now, I bet some of you are sick of seeing Beach Queen Sabers, but I'm actually getting a big kick at the onslaught of Saber we've been experiencing lately. Between these two, Alter, Extra, and Zero, there's a Beach Queen Saber in every flavor. Wave knows what people want, and they are relentless in their delivery. I'm sure the blokes with dedicated Saber shrines in their collections are loving and loathing this development at the same time. Now all that's left is a Beach Queen Saber Lion. Improbable? Perhaps, but when Wave's on a roll like this, common sense seems like the last thing that would break their stride.
