S.H. Figuarts of Shinkenger appearing at physical Toys R Us stores photo

Last month, I posted that the S.H. Figuarts releases from Samurai Sentai Shinkenger (Power Rangers Samurai) had become available on the Toys R Us website. I am proud to say today that I was horribly, horribly wrong and they have indeed made their way to physical U.S. stores.

Pictures made their way to the net confirming this, so I'm really glad to see this happening. Available right now are Shinken Red and Shinken Gold. Hopefully this isn't just a one-time thing and we'll continue to see more things become available and brick and mortar locations. While I'm still a bit skeptical as to how well a $35 Power Rangers figure will do at stores, I'm just glad we're seeing it actually happen. Perhaps we'll be hearing something more concrete about Bandai's future plans at NYCC...

For a second I thought a Tomopop staffer stepped into a TRU =p

I had thought they *might* go to general retail, simply because TRU has been doing that with other collectible items. I wonder what the theft rate is on something like this, though, as it's both an expensive item and probably easy to pocket.

Reminds me that my local TRU also got Master Piece Hot Rodimus on its shelves. I wonder if he'll ever get a price cut...

I can't remember the last time I've had time to do a toy run. I miss doing them quite a bit actually. Given the new addition soon, I'll be going to them more often.
if these do well hopefully they plan on putting othe figuarts figures into stores like dragonball z figuarts

Well, they lowered the price for all the Wheelies which are warming the shelves there... *grin*
I did not believed it, but I had to run to the store and find out for myself... It's true! And it was tagged $34.99, which thrown off a lot of parents...
