Rumorpop: New RoboCop figures from NECA, Hot Toys?

So if you haven't heard by now, the long-rumored RoboCop remake is going forward with José Padilha (the Brazilian director of documentary Bus 174, and action films Elite Squad 1 and 2) at the helm, despite the fact it doesn't need to be remade at all. But of course, new movies mean merchandise, and it seems RoboCop will be getting a ton of it. These images from the Licensing International Expo, spotted in a NeoGAF thread about the remake and originally shot by ComingSoon.net, are promotional fliers given to retailers and distributors, but there's one thing worth noting: new toys. If you can't see it from the glare, the text says, "NECA and Hot Toys will launch new figures and collectibles in late 2011."

Now, plans can always change, but considering that both NECA and Hot Toys have produced RoboCop stuff in the past, and there's little I can do to stop this remake, I'd say we'll see some new stuff later this year along with that lovely new figma. Also, my wallet just screamed and jumped out the window.
