Robot Damashii Leo Space Type rolling out to Tamashii Web

If there is something that could be the definition of cannon fodder, it's the Leo. As a joke to its pilots with its armor seemingly made of paper mache, somehow we still love it. With the normal, gravity-bound version of the Robot Damashii Leo being released this month, surely the Space Type Leo would see deployment soon. If you thought it would be made and sent straight out to the Space that is the Tamashii Web Shop, then you've got an eye for the obvious.

The Leo Space Type is just a tad different from the land version. The main difference here is found in the purple paint job given to it and the backpack, which is a rather large flight pack. What's annoying though is that it just comes shipped out without any other accessories. Not a single weapon. If you do want weapons, those will be provided in an extra weapons pack. In what's billed as the Leo Weapons Set 2, you'll get the machine gun, beam rifle, dober gun, beam sabers, extra open hands, shield and a movable head. It's outrageous to me that you have to buy the weapons separate.

Making the situation worse are the prices. The Leo Space Type will retail for 3,150 yen while the Weapons Set #2 is going for 2,100 yen. You're essentially looking at 5,350 yen plus shipping and proxy fees. I love the Leo, but that's just too rich for my blood, not to mention the bad taste in my mouth for having to buy an accessory pack just so I can have it with weapons. If you're still feeling it though, get your proxy friend to order it through the Tamashii Web Shop.

We saw Alphamax's one-piece dress Kirino go up for pre-orders a few weeks ago and, as is the immutable law when it comes to Oreimo, Kuroneko was sure to follow soon. Now she's here, sporting a similar dressed-down look to Kir...
