So we all know Girls und Panzer is pretty much the best show airing (alright, sort of airing) at the moment, right? It's pretty indisputable, as the sales are quite staggering to say the least. It's pretty much a given Season 2 is on the horizon at some point, but in the meantime you can bet Wave is going to jump on the popularity and snatch up the series' multitudes of schoolgirls for the Beach Queens line.

Lucky for them, the fanservice-filled first OVA means they don't even need to do any design work, with swimsuits provided courtesy of GuP itself. The only surprising bit is that Saori seems to be the first off the line, even if she is one of the lead characters. Though given her "assets" perhaps I shouldn't be caught so off guard.

At the very least, she's definitely one of the better crafted Beach Queens, despite her simplicity. The style of the show is captured quite well, and there's definitely a feel of her usual upbeat demeanor. You'll be able to pick her up in August for the usual asking price of about ¥3,800.
