Race into 2013 ... with last year's Racing Miku modelSo, it's January 2013, and that makes perfect timing to ... open the ordering window for Racing Miku 2012? Yes, FREEing's 1/7-scale Miku based on last year's design is now racing into retailers for pre-orders, and at least the good news is she looks great. I wasn't a fan of the costume too much, but the pose here and the movement they've put into the sculpt, from the fluttering pink flag to those twintails of hers being thrown about by her leap forward, is too good not to mention. She does seem to come with a base similar to the Tony Taka Miku ... which is the one thing about that figure I did not like at all. Racing Miku 2012 is up for pre-order now, retailing for ¥12,191. She'll be coming in June, and by that time, we'll already be focusing on a bunch of Racing Miku 2013 merchandise. Is that too long of a wait for the figure, or does the wait not matter to you as long as she's a good figure?
