Ra's Al Ghul is immortal enough to get a TDKR figureSome say that Ra's Al Ghul is immortal. Given that he's getting a figure in Mattel's The Dark Knight Rises Movie Master line after dying two movies ago, I'm inclined to believe it. There was a lot of talk about Ra's Al Ghul possibly getting a figure in the Movie Masters line but, for whatever reason, he wasn't in the case at SDCC. Guess he must have been too busy soaking in a Lazarus Pit. At any rate, video reviews of the figure and photos seem to have been popping up over the past few days. I found this box photo over at Comic X-aminer who, in turn, found it on TDKR-themed Facebook page. Apparently death hasn't been kind to Ra's Al Ghul as the headsculpt looks horrendous (no doubt resulting from decay!). The lips look comically oversized, the cheeks and general face just seem creepy, and there doesn't seem to be much resemblance to Liam Neeson. It does, however, look passable from above at a distance (like in pack there). The body seems to be the same mold used for some of The Dark Knight Movie Masters figures, among others. It seems like an all-around lackluster figure. Sean Long posted a video review for it, from which I grabbed the cleaner headshot. If nothing else his video provides a better look at the figure.
