The graphig series of anime characters turned papercraft seems to be doing fairly well with already having over 100 releases to its name. Though already released, the girls of Puella Magi Madoka Magica will see themselves becoming a bunch of blockheads again in a new series of graphig collectibles.

The graphig++ series brings the same style of art work but does away with the paper and gives you a sturdier, pre-built PVC figure. We've seen this before with the cast of Fate/Zero and now it's the cast of Madoka Magica getting this nice treatment. Everyone is accounted for including Ultimate Madoka which is teased in the preview at Mikatan's Blog. An interesting feature of the graphig++ series is the ability to swap the head parts around making for some... down right frightening imagery.

It's very cute to see the graphig series get this "upgrade". For those who have been interested in it for Madoka Magica but didn't want to deal with the paper, you now have the graphig++ series as an option. Look for these blockheads to go up for pre-order on October 25, 2012.
