Professor Layton and the mysterious plushies

As you're probably well aware, our own Colette Bennett is off on assignment in Japan covering the Tokyo Game Show. Especially on the other side of the world, she's always on the hunt for interesting and fantastic toys. She just ran into these adorable plushed-out versions of Professor Layton and his assistant Luke from the popular Nintendo DS titles. Underneath them in English was a sign which simply read "COMING SOON... !" Very curious indeed.

You know, lad, this reminds me of a puzzle! Japan is 6,247 miles away from America. If your boss is off in a magnificent foreign land, how long does it take before your feelings of jealousy are overtaken by your feelings over missing your friend? (Don't worry. She'll be back in just a few more days!)
