Prepare your toy shelves for MORTAL KOMBAAAAAAT

That new Mortal Kombat game is pretty awesome, isn't it? You know what would be more awesome? Action figures of your favorite kombatants!

Jazwares has you covered! We're getting poseable figures of these pillars of video game violence in the three- and six-inch varieties. Shown so far are the six inch variety in the form of Johnny Cage, Raiden, Sub-Zero and Scorpion. Each figure is sporting at least 15 points of articulation and sculpts accurate to their first costume in the game. Except Johnny Cage seems to be missing a neck. I think Raiden stole it and added it to his own.

Most of the figures have some accessories that can come into play with posing, such as Cage's alternate hands, Sub-Zero's Ice Blade or Scorpion's Swords, which mount on his back. Raiden seems to lack accessories, but that doesn't stop you from launching him at the others while shouting "yabbagabbayoOooOOoo"!

Expect to see these guys on shelves some time in the summer. Also look forward to an announcement for a SDCC exclusive as well (who wants to bet its a one of these guys sprayed in blood). Jazwares asks for recommendations on their facebook page for characters to use in the future. Sonya Blade is already in consideration, and I'm sure a Mileena figure would land this line right into one of those "Worst toys for your kids" lists faster than you an say "M rated game".
