Prepare to shout SHINRYAKU! Mecha Musume!!

I risk sounding like a broken record by now but there's a good chance that this will be the last time I harp on about it! At least until the next figure in the line is released. So far, we have seen numerous pics of the new Armour girls project lineup and the very first in the line, Cecily Alcott from <IS> Infinite stratos has been available for preorder for some time now. But the one we (or at least, I) have been waiting for was the release of the gundam girl figures bandai have continuously shown us at various events. Well, I have to wait no longer!

This months scans show that the wing gundam girl will be released in May at a price of ¥4,800! Now, all I need to do is camp out on the online stores until they start taking orders. Along with the Wing Gundam girl, in a move which will surprise nobody, Kyon no imouto will also be getting a release as part of that odd Suzumiya Haruhi Composite ver Ka exoskeleton lineup. Seeing as we have already seen two versions of Haruhi and Nagato Yuki released AND have seen completed versions of both the Mikuru and Kyon no imouto figures at events before, This shouldn't come as any surprise. Expect to see a Mikuru release sooner rather than later as well!!

And to round things off, we have word of two new busou shinki releases. These releases are part of the recent line which focuses more on light armour and close combat weapons, so don't expect any extra gimmicks like the recently released gradius shinki (which are really cool by the way!). Also, from out of nowhere, Akitaka Mika, the artist behind the gundam girls illustrations also showed off some images of, what he calls "musumecha." the images are basically anime characters given some mecha packs, similar to the Composite ver Ka Haruhi figures, but a little bit more discreet. Not much though. We have Ika Musume from Shinryaku! Ika Musume, Fear Cube from C3 and Himari From Mawaru Penguindrum on display. I have to admit that, while I sniggered a little when I first saw the images, I'd totally buy them if they went into figure form.
