Pre-orders open for Kotobukiya's Ikaruga kit

Rewind to October of last year, when we first saw the unpainted model of the Ikaruga shown at the All Japan Hobby Model Show. This is not the first time we have seen a model of the ship from the beloved Dreamcast shooter, but it is by far the most affordable kit we've seen so far. And now you can buy it!

Thanks to the sharp eye sof Tomopop reader v2gundam, we now know that Kotobukiya's kit is open for pre-order. It's slated for a release in June and will cost ¥3,840 (US$46.55). Now, assembly is required, so be aware you aren't going to get a box with a complete ship in it, but if you're willing to do a bit of work, you can have this beauty on your shelf very soon.
