Pre-order this Kotobukiya Ikaruga model, Hitekki Ginkei
Kotobukiya is adding a new space fighter to their lineup of Ikaruga fighters. Which one? It's the second player model, Hitekki Genkei, and I appreciate its unique design. The Genkei just has a certain charm to it, like it is calling to me. Even though it looks elegant and fragile, it still packs a punch and can do a barrel roll, too! This model is made to 1/144 scale and stands about 6 inches tall. It has about 200 pre-colored plastic parts and requires glue for assembly, so given the small size of the kit, at least in this writer's opinion, it would be an intermediate difficulty kit.
