Just a few days after Good Smile blew out WonFes with Attack on Titan merchandise, the first fruits of their labour are going up for pre-order in the form of the Colossal Titan Nendoroid. I've gotta say this guy looks great, that nasty muscles-and-bones face translating very well to the super-deformed style.
Really though, the figure itself is only half the story, as he also comes with the Attack on Titan Playset, perhaps the most delightful batch of accessories ever bundled with a Nendoroid. There's a slice of the city, complete with gigantic wall for your Titan to menacingly loom over. There are iniature figures of the smaller titans who can roam wild between the houses. There're even more miniature figures of the humans, some of whom can be gripped and eaten by the smaller Titans, others of whom are decked out in 3D Maneuver Gear, ready to fight back. Smoke cloud effects are here too, some of which can be attached to the miniature figures and used as stands to portray them flying through the air.
It all adds up to an irresistible package, and the good news is these extras don't grossly inflate the price either, though at ¥4,572 you'll pay a little more than standard Nendoroid cost. For anyone wanting even more details, newly minted GSC blogger Kahotan has posted up a preview as well. I suspect a lot of you are already decided though, so hit those links below and wait in anticipation of a December release.
