X Plus USA's first wave of Hanna-Barbera figurines may not be out yet but already we're seeing the newest addition to their line: the oversized Herculoid Tundro (who you might remember as that strange rhino-armadillo thing that shoots rocks out of its horn).

Tundro is billed as being 8.25-inches long and seems to scale nicely with the (not included) Zandor. However, that increased size carries with it a list price of US$40 which (as with the previous lower-priced figurine pre-orders) seems a little high. While I'm not sure if the costs are high due to low production runs or just licensing fees, I can't imagine that the line will be successful at these price points.

Tundro will be the second Herculoids character in X Plus USA's Hanna-Barbera line and hopefully not the last. While I feel that X Plus USA's Tundro looks great, I can't help but think you could just pick up the Toynami boxset for around the same price and, since it includes Gleep & Dorno, get more for your money.
