Power Anime to return to retail this Friday in LA

There's a little something special for those long-distance fans, too.

Los Angeles-based collectors, rejoice! Power Anime will once again have a physical retail location beginning with its soft opening this Friday, September 7. The store's last location was at the Westside Pavilion mall and I shed many a tear when it closed. It was my first real anime store I ever went to. That was youth embodied in a store, good readers. Now, I am ecstatic to announce the new location will be at the Santa Monica Mitsuwa (location and directions found here).

Don't live in LA (or just prefer shopping online)? That's okay. Power Anime is spreading the love all around with an online fire sale, with three highly sought-after figures being discounted. The first figure is the Tiger & Bunny Blue Rose Chibi Arts (reviewed), which is marked down to US$32.24 from US$42.99. The second is another Taibani figure, this time the Sky High Figuarts, marked down to US$39.99 from US$59.99. The final figure is the One Piece Silvers Raleigh "Dark King" P.O.P figure, now US$72.99 instead of US$101.99.

Are you as psyched as I am? Is anybody else going to make it out to the Friday soft opening?
