Some of you yesterday seemed to be under the impression that Penguin Parade's Kuroko figure wasn't exactly of the best quality, and I have to admit, I am inclined to agree. I still think they manage a good job of capturing the character, however, and they're making another go of it with a Misaka figure to accompany her young kohai.
Like the Shirai figure's nail bandolier, Penguin Parade goes the extra mile again that, in my opinion, makes up for the slight lack of overall quality, if not the asking price. Where most may be content to release a Misaka figure alone, this design also comes with an interchangeable face to mimic one of Misaka's sister clones, along with an appropriate bit of firepower. While I might prefer a certain other figure featuring Mikoto--and Kuroko, for that matter--there's no doubt the two of these will go quite well together. She'll be available this September, just in time to pick up both her and Kuroko at the same time.
