This new Shredder is done in the Marvel Legends scale, a size I'm very happy with. It's hard for me to place the specific pieces used in custom Shredder's creation, even more so as they didn't include a cheat-sheet like I'm used to, but I can at the very least accurately identify the head as coming from one of the newer Shredders from the 2003 TMNT cartoon figure line. The swords, I'm guessing, came from someone in the actual Marvel Legends line, but that's entirely speculative.
There's also been some touch-up work to add a metallic sheen to the...metal parts. It's all just working for me. Oh, but it's time to add another random factoid that describes Pranger's overall view towards What Makes Toys Cool: Weapons sheaths. I can't really explain it, but when a figure has a means to store their weapons in their person, such as a holster or a sword sheath as is the case here, I'll spend hours upon hours pulling the weapons out and putting them back in.
Pack Rat Studios, I'll make you a deal. You don't have to send me the entire figure; I'll settle for just the swords. Does that sound fair? Anyone else wish they could buy this right now?
