While wandering through the halls at Otakon, we came across one of the most spectacular constructions at the Otakon Artist's Alley: the robot from Big O. Sadly, there wasn't a sign attached to to the piece (or at least anything that I can remember) containing the artist information or the like, but this was a marvel.
Standing about ten feet high, this robot was simply stunning. The pictures down in the gallery below will tell the story, but you could see the level of detail put into this thing: there was nary a flaw on its body. The lighting in the Artist's Alley gives off a sense of gloom, which made its way into some of the pictures, unfortunately. But, put this piece outside? It'd look fantastic.
If any of you Otakon attendees happen to have any more information on the piece, please let us know! We'd love to talk with the maker of this shiny behemoth.
