Pre-orders have opened for Orchid Seed's latest Sonico artwork turned figure. The 1/7-scale Super Sonico Nurse ver. figure is surprisingly modest but still fills a fetish for fans of the nurse attire. When first looking at this figure, my eyes immediately jumped to her hair. The way it hangs on her right side looks like a mess like it's being pumped out through the holes of an industrial food processor. Outside of that, it's a nicely sculpted figure and though the outfit is lacking in any form of details, it's made up with the various attachments found on Sonico. Though a nurse wearing headphones with a needle in hand and more attached to her thigh does worry me...
Orchid Seed couldn't keep Sonico completely modest. They wouldn't be Orchid Seed if they did. You can strip Sonico of her nurse uniform and leave her in her underwear and... lingerie top that's slowly being paid off for the complete thing? Of course it's designed to have you get a glimpse of her breasts. ...until you remove it and just have her topless. This is where I have a problem with Sonico figures and art. The big boob thing I don't mind anymore but I feel that the body should be a little more proportionate to that bust size. Sorry, Sonico. I refuse t believe those are real.
Orchid Seed's Sonico Nurse Ver. figure looks okay if you keep her clothes on but isn't the greatest looking of figures. If you're needing a shot in the arm of Sonico though, she'll be available in August, 2012. Just make sure you have your insurance ready and the ¥8,286 price for services.
