Diamond Select Toys had a slew of new Minimates on display at their NYCC booth in addition to hosting what may have been an awesome panel... which Tomopop totally missed. The panel reportedly featured the control arts for the fourth ThunderCats set (including Grune and Ma-Mutt!!), Marvel series 50, and the Best of Marvel series 2.

Of course, my favorite bit of news was the latest batch Toys "R" Us exclusive Marvel Minimate 2-packs which features, among other (less important) things, Juggernaut as Kuurth. Back when the "Fear Itself" Minimates were revealed, I was silently wondering when we would see this epic version of the ever-iconic Juggernaut and I'm naturally overjoyed to see it receive a figure. Juggernaut as Kuurth will be packed with Hulk as Nul. The other new Toys "R" Us 2-packs are as follows: Transformation Thing with Silver Surfer, Human Torch with Annihilus, and Firelord with Airwalker.

In addition, comic book stores and specialty retailers will see two new 4-packs. The 'Hulk Throughout the Ages' set will feature Maestro (an evil future Hulk), Mr. Fixit (Gray Hulk's adopted persona, also called Joe Fixit), Composite Hulk (red/green fused Hulk), and Barbarian Hulk (who also got a Marvel Select). Not to be outdone, Wolverine has his own set entitled 'The Many Faces of Wolverine' which features Ultimate Wolverine, Japan Wolverine (Logan-san!), Symbiote Wolverine (I think it's from Spider-Man: Web of Shadows), and Spacesuit Wolverine.

Plus they had other recent items on display like the Silver Surfer and some Fantastic Four Minimates, in addition to the previously shown fighting game selections and Battle Beasts. Check out the gallery for more. I know I can't wait for the Kuurth Juggernaut, the Battle Beasts, and the SFxT Kuma pack, but how about you?

Hot Toys' Joker mime has all the skills of a real mime

Jack Nicholson's Joker was enough of a creeper on his own. Put him in a mime outfit, and all bets are off. Indeed, a sociopathic clown and a mime aren't terribly different (in terms of looks, anyway). If you think about it, a...
