NYCC 2012: Dark HorseMass Effect 3 has made its impact felt on the market. Due to demand, numerous pieces have been constructed by various companies over the past year. Dark Horse, long known for its publishing arm, has already dabbled into the collectibles market with its own ship replicas from the game. At New York Comic Con, there's just one last piece to invade your display, the Reaper ship replica. As you can see on the detail of the figure, the Reaper comes with its own minature diorama display stand. The Reaper stands nicely above the shattered remnants of ground and construction material, seemingly reaper to execute death in its finest form. In person, this isn't just a small miniature, but something rather large, to the excess of at least 12 inches in height. It's quite impressive as you see it there, just note that you'll have to part with $349 US Dollars in order to bring it down to earth when it's released in June of 2013. On the other side of things, Dark Horse did trot out a couple of new items. In what should be a popular piece in the future is the throne from Game of Thrones. What I don't get at all is the presence of Troll Dolls, which are being combined with Marvel license. I honestly have no idea what to say here except why. Who in their right mind went, "You know what'd be really great for my collection? The Sub-Mariner...but in TROLL FORM!" I honestly don't know here, so yeah, Marvel Trolls. Neat. Check out the Dark Horse booth in all of its infamy and glory in the gallery below. Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
