I really like posting about Ikkitousen. Seriously. The mind numbing number of figures, in so many different poses, paint schemes, and sizes. It just amazes me. Sadly, the focus in only on three characters -- Kan'u Unchou, Ryoumou Shimei, and Chou'un Shiryu -- and that begins to get repetitious. Yeah, yeah, there are like 8 Hakufu figures (somebody PLEASE make a good one for me!!) out there, and a handful of the other characters, compared to thousands of figures of the aforementioned girls. So, here again, we have another figure of Chou'unn Shiryu.
A couple of months ago, we got a look at Amie-Grand's unpainted version of this polystone piece, seventh in their Festival line, and it was good. Now, she comes in colors and, well, meh. The hair, in particular, seems especially ugly, and there is absolutely nothing new or exciting here. Well, I do like how her "Attack Nipples of Doom- manage to hold her shirt in place, even though it appears to be windblown. That's a serious talent.
This Chou'un Shiryu comes to us in 1/6 scale, which is cool, but the 16,000 yen price tag makes her much less desirable. If this is your girl, then you can preorder her at Hobby Search, Amiami or HLJ. She's due out in September.
Amie-Grand had some nice figures at Treasure Festa with my personal favorite being Asuka. I like the concept, with her chilling on a really cool NERV-themed base. You can also see a polystone 1/6-scale Chuubou Sonken from Ikk...

Amie-Grand doesn't seem content to just be releasing their polystone Rei for a second time. Hailing from the action packed Blassreiter, XAT agent Amanda Werner will be arriving in July as well, and is she ever baring all! Whi...

It seems like even longer than a couple years ago when we took a look at Amie Grand's gorgeous gothy Rei of Evangelion fame. In the time since then, I've grown no love for the overly popular character, but nor has any been lo...

Asuka Langley Shikinami from Rebuild of Evangelion; love her or hate her, you at least have to admire some of the figures released of her. I know I'm drawn in by Amie-Grand's latest 1/6-scale figure of this fiery red head sin...

You're going to have to shore up your collection storage if you plan on picking up this new Charlotte Dunois from Amie-Grand! Foregoing PVC for a heftier polystone cast, you can count on this lady to be quite a bit sturdier t...

Quiet day on the pre-order front making this an easier day to bring you Reserve or Regret with one release that may tempt you possibly. That would be the Rebuild of Evangelion 1/7-scale Mari ~Plugsuit style.~ by Kotobukiya. I...

Wonder Festival 2012 [Winter] is a little over a week away and more and more companies are releasing information on their exclusive goods. Kit maker Amie-Grand doesn't look to be bringing much of anything new, focusing once a...

Amie-Grand is all about the polystone statues. It's their thing. Well, that and Ikkitousen. But from time to time they'll produce something from a different title. ...though that title is normally Evangelion. And that's what ...

I've made mention of the fact that I'm no fan of Evangelion's seemingly most popular character, the enigmatic Rei Ayanami. I like my characters with a little more emotion and a human side to them, and Rei, like other characte...

This one came by surprise; there's a Hideyoshi Kinoshita Nurse Version up for pre-order! It's not your usual PVC, though...he's getting the polystone treatment for ¥13,200 suggested retail and is due out in August. Now it...
