New photos of UpLark's Akiyama Mio from K-On! make her more desirable

I've been a bit iffy on UpLark's upcoming 1/8 scale Akiyama Mio from K-On! Even when UpLark finally released color photos of the figure, I just couldn't make up my mind. It looks like the deal has been sealed now though thanks to the crisper photos from Mikatan's Blog.

What finally made me say "yes!" was the close up of her face and those detailed lips. Shy yet sweet. The bashful face I'm not too sure about. It's cute but I'll feel guilty with the face looking at me all the time. Like I have done something unforgivable to her even though it's a PVC figure. Her hair makes me think of flat noodles yet it just seems to work on this figure. With the outfit being all black along with her hair, it's a bit hard to notice the little details. I didn't even notice the buttons on her outfit last time!

It's going to be hard to choose which one to keep when I have this and Alter's version. I can do without Kotobukiya's version, though. Speaking of owning, pre-orders are expected to open tomorrow so keep your eyes opened. Retail price is set at 8,190 yen with hopefully a definite release date.
