New photos of Hatsune Miku Love is War ver. surface photo

Ishinaga Sakurako, known for his incredible World Is Mine Miku figure, appears to have done it again. We first caught glimpses of her, with an incredible base, during this year's winter Wonder Festival. Sakurako has posted some new detail shots of her, apparently preparing for this summer's Wonder Festival. She's looking absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately, we are still lacking color shots. Good Smile Company seems to have acquired the rights to her. Let's hope they manage to create a faithful PVC out of Sakurako's awesome sculpt! What do you guys think? Are we tired of Miku already, or is this one different enough to warrant a purchase? Check out the other new images in the gallery!

MOAR Wonder Festival:

Legacy Comments

Love is War is one of my favorite Miku songs. I have a strong feeling this will be my first scaled figure as long as she isn't released for a few months!

This looks really great :)

I'm sure you'll have plenty of time given that we haven't even seen a painted sample yet! :)
I can't wait to see the colored version, but I don't know what the time from is usually for figures from intro to preorder-ready? So far she looks gorgeous, I hope she stays that way!
The motion in this piece if just astounding. *drools*
I really want this like now
It looks so awesome, but I wish he had done the Eager Love Revenge outfit instead of her normal one.
So, who's gonna trade me this for one of my kidneys? You can pick which one!
Looking fabulous, but I don't like Love is War.
Like, really. I wish they'd do some song I like instead of doing just supercell songs or nagimiso's illustrations. Like... Some awesome wowaka. Or Hachi.

I want a rolling Rolling Girl Miku ;_;

Also, I love those prototypes, sometimes more than the colored figure. I have no idea how they "shade" them like this, but it looks really, really awesome.
Hmmmn, might be quality controlled like crap and get delayed, which might give people even more time? xP

DO WANT OMG
Forget Miku, I want figures of Rin and Len from Daughter of Evil/Servant of Evil! Or from Sigre. Or Juvenile! Please??

The most usual way for that loo is a dry brush technique- you slather on paint and then wipe it off again- it stays in the cracks, shallow areas, and lines creating that lovely tea stained look.
OMGSOWANT!

Wonder how tall it will be with the base..
not sold until I see a painted version.
Ergh. I...I don't like it. Back at Winter Wonfes, the one shot was epic yes but of course, not much could be based on just that, so I've been waiting and now...based on this...

Ergh. Her clothes look...blargh. And like, she isn't even wearing the badass LiW outfit which makes me sadface. Pose? The fuck are you doing, Miku?

Ergh. WiM was very beautiful indeed and I'm sure this will look pretty damn stunning once painted, but... Well, I still haven't even had a moment to buy my Alter Momohime. Priorities, man. And ergh to this.
I'm with Aiya in not being sold on it until a paint job is shown because it could literally make or break the figure.

Also of concern is the base. Are GSC gonna make their own base or is it gonna be similar to the one we saw awhile ago because if it is it's not only gonna be gigantic but it's also gonna cost a arm and a leg because of that size.
OMG, Sakurako is a sculpting god. Though his non-miku Alice piece is so creepy. On Miku, I love the dynamic movement created by the thrown back cord and flying hair. It also reminds me of VN02 moreso than other Miku pieces. If offered colored or the vintage tea stained look, I wonder which I'd get.
