The initial response to the newest Gundam series, Gundam AGE, hasn't been that kind. Then again, we're talking about one of the most fickle fanbases making their reactions of a two-page spread. Regardless, there's only one real reason why new series are being made, and that's to make Bandai rich through the production of new model kits.
The initial three models are of the titular Gundam AGE. As you see in the picture above, there are three units, all of the Gundam AGE-1. The center suit is the original suit with its two forms, Sparrow to the left and Titus to the right. These are the first pics of the series and their Gunpla, and based off that, it should make some good kits for next year.
More information on the series as well as the Gunpla is going to be announced at this year's Tokyo Toy Show, which begins next week on June 16th. For now, take a look at the magazine scans and leave your comments below.
