Nendoroid Melona is delightfully disturbing

What's she smiling about? ....oh, that just seems wrong

Pre-orders have opened for nendoroid Melona, which might be the most disturbing Queen's Blade nendoroid to date. Not that Queen's Blade hasn't always been a somewhat awkward fit for the nendoroid format but there's something humorously disturbing to Melona here... but I can't quite put my finger on what it is.

Melona presumably features cast-off hair (in that you can remove it to change her face and get treated to some partial nendoroid nudity (nudoroidity?)), although I wonder if this means she can't actually rotate her head. Otherwise, she features an alternate set of arms and an alternate bottom half for her slime mode. The hair seems to have some kind of weird tinting where the edges almost look yellow.

Nendoroid Melona might be tacky or a little freaky, but she still has a cute-ish design. Still, is there really that big of a market for these?
