Native, I am disappoint. The only reason to buy a Native figure is becuase they offer ridiculously high quality ero figures that are very much worth jumping through hoops for. The only other company that produces decent ero is Orchid Seed, and they don't even push the limits as much as Native. So if ero is your thing, it's worth the extra price bump to get a Native figure. While this figure is most certainly cast-off (it being Native and all) and quite adorable, it's a far cry from what we've come to expect from Native (links NSFW).
While Kanna Hitobushi from the eroge Amatsu Misora ni! is quite cute, and a beautiful looking figure, she doesn't really stand out much. Certainly not enough to make me pay for a proxy! It kind of reminds me of Volks' PVC offerings: I like them, but I am not going to pay $150 for them when I can get a similar looking Alter figure for half the price! If you live in Japan I suppose it's another story, as this 1/7 scale figure's retail of 9,000 yen won't be bumped up at all. Orders start on November 12th, so you'll have to make up your mind quickly! You can check out the pictures of her in the gallery (screencapped by the awesome Jonathan Tubbs!) to help make up your mind. For me, as lovely as Kanna is she's an easy pass. Now where is Trunk Girl, Native?! They also have the Soniko license, and I am very surprised this hasn't lead to a figure! What are your thoughts on this surprising turn of events, Tomopeeps?
