The team at Hot Toys always seem to have a few surprises in store for their fans and collectors, and perhaps nothing's been quite as shocking to me as seeing Naked Snake from Metal Gear Solid 3 drop into my inbox this morning. The 1/6-scale (30 cm) Sneaking Suit Version of Naked Snake is the newest addition to the Hot Toys Video Game Masterpiece lineup, and as you might expect, they've taken Snake's likeness from MGS3 and put it into figure form. Jung Ju Won's facial sculpt is ridiculously realistic, isn't it?

So what does Snake come with? Like other Hot Toys figures, he's got more than 30 points of articulation, along with six interchangeable hands that allow him to hold his guns, hunting knife and grenades; a game-accurate outfit made from leather-like materials; a machine gun, rifle, EZ gun and pistol with suppressor; a CQC knife and survivial knife, both with cases; three different grenades; binoculars; a ration; and of course, a cardboard box. Oh, and a stand with Naked Snake nameplate, to boot.

A 4th quarter 2012 release, Naked Snake has left me at a loss for further words and there's a good chance I'll be buying him. But there's one more big announcement that Hot Toys had, and in our next post, we'll highlight that ...
