Let me take this time to express just how jealous I am of anyone who lives in LA right now, because this is an art show that is so up my alley I could just cry! The My Little Pony Project will launch at the Toy Art Gallery in LA on May 5th at 7 p.m. and will be a charitable event that includes artists from LA, New York and Tokyo. It features the MLP Project charity ponies that are 18 inches tall, as well as artwork created from all over.

There are so many incredible artists, including: 6&DOKIDOKI, 64Colors, Ana Bagayan, Angry Woebots, Blamo (Mikie Graham), Blythe (Junie Moon), Chikuwaemil, COPE2, DABS & MYLA, Eimi, HIME+YOU, Indie, Jillian Kate, J*RYU, Julie West, Kano, Kukula, Lisa Alisa, Luke Chueh, Madoka Kinoshita, Martin Hsu, Mark Mothersbaugh, Miso, Miss Kika, Onch Movement, Perez Hilton, Shojono Tomo, Sket One, Spank!, TOUMA and more! There are also several stores involved, including: Munky King, JapanLA, Joyrich, De La Barracuda, and it is curated by Sweet Streets.

No matter what, you're bound to have a great time! It's sponsored by Hasbro, My Little Pony and Mighty Fine Clothing. If you're interested, you should be sure to like Sweet Streets and Mighty Fine on Facebook so you can stay up to date on all the artwork updates, as well as other MLP events that are going on. Take some time to check out the gallery as well to see some of the artists' works in progress!

More Wooper Looper goods coming this Friday

I loved Gary Ham's Wooper Looper when it was originally released as a Sofubi last year. I loved the little fellow even more (if such a thing were possible) when the axolotl later took the forms of two plushes, one made by Gar...
