My heart melts for nerdJERK's custom creations
Contrary to popular belief, my soul has not withered up and died just yet and is in fact very receptive to the cutesie and cuddly that sometimes appears in our bleak and unbearable world. Case in point, nerdJERK's custom crocheted creations based on some of my favorite game characters. What have we got in store for my adoration? How about Kirby, or possibly Meta Knight, or a Chain Chomp, or the most precious little Goomba I ever did see!
The creative force behind nerdJERK happens to be a one Stephanie Cortes, exceptionally great custom crochet artist behind all of the cute things you see before you. There are too many to mention and link directly to, but suffice it to say that the cuddlies and the wuddlies are numerous and overpowering and that more can be seen at nerdJERK's Flickr account and can all be purchased at her Etsy storefront. All of these pieces can comfortably fit in the palm of your hand, or as patches, broaches, and necklaces. Basically, go check out nerdJERK's store to see if anything pleases your fancy.
But hold on, these aren't for just anyone. No sir! You want something this cute, you're going to pay. Well, sometimes. My favorite just happens to be that miniature Goomba, so I'd only be out USD$22. However, thinking about maybe Chain Chomp? Try USD$100. Meta Knight? Boy you know you're paying USD$300. Still, there's something for everyone as there are cool sets of magnets for USD$10 or broaches for USD$12, and everyone can afford that. Need one last bit of convincing? Here's her newest creation, a custom Thwomp. Boom, sold, just take my money now please.
Anyone else as impressed as I am? Tomocountry, will you be taking a trip to nerdJERK's Etsy shop and buying me a mini Goomba? Because you totally should!
