More K-ON! figures on the way photo

Earlier this month, we brought you news that Good Smile would be producing K-ON! Nendoroids in the future, which could only mean that the first pictures of official K-ON! figures weren't far behind. Well, I was somewhat right. Thanks to Danny Choo, though, we now have our first pictures of official K-ON! figures, though they are of a series of trading figures from Takara Tomy that will retail at 400 yen a piece.

The line-up features five figures: Mio, Ritsu, Yui and the absolutely lovely Tsumugi, as well as a fifth secret character that's likely either Sawkao-sensei or Yui's sister, Ui. Yeah, besides Yui, they aren't that great, but they're rather cheap and to be honest, I'll probably end up getting them anyways. Even if some of them are a little fat-looking.

On top of that news, though, comes this tidbit of info from Danny: Aoshima is producing a series of their Mobip poseable figure line featuring the girls of K-ON! Those are set for a release this fall at a price of 2,800 yen a piece. While I'm not as knowledgeable on the Mobip figures as I am on Revoltechs and Figmas, they should still turn out to be pretty great quality.

Still, this probably isn't going to be the last time you hear about K-ON! on Tomopop. I would be surprised if we didn't get a K-ON! Figma announcement in the coming weeks, and we should be getting out first glances at the Mio and Yui Nendoroids soon, too, so there's plenty for me, errr, for everyone to look forward to!

The round faces fit the cuteness of Yui and Tsumugi. Not so much for Ritsu and Mio. Though I couldn't get into the series I did find Yui adorable. Will have to keep my eyes opened for these.
DAMN IT! You got me excited because I thought the Nendoroids had pics. D:
The faces are a bit too chubby though, especially Mugi's. Well, even though they're trading figures, the faces need a bit better QC.
