The color looks really funky. The skin is like 2 shades off and something looks wrong with the lips & eyes. I do have to give them credit for doing a work decidedly less insipid than previous pieces, as the line has a trend of tossing the legs into dramatic poses. In contrast, the sculptwork is pretty fine and the face actually has a mature look from a side-angle (and if not for the hair, it almost reminds me of older character designs). The accessories on the base are a pretty good mix, but the normal corkwood look of the stand itself is a little lame. A more marble look would've been the intuitive choice, given the characters Grecian overtones.

My only other qualms are that the definition on her quadriceps looks a little funky (particularly the left one from the photos presented) and the fact they chose to sculpt a belly button into her metal belt.

I can't even keep track of everybody in the line so far. Seems like a non-stop parade. I think my most wanted additions would be Power Girl, Black Canary, and Nico Minoru although that one is obviously never going to happen. Canary seems like a definite shoo-in at some point and I imagine that on the Marvel side X-23 will probably warrant an inclusion some time down the road.

Pictures of Kotobukiya's X-23 are actually already up on Marvel's site. She's on their X-Force line though and not a Bishoujo figure. Sideshow also has a Beast comiquette coming. Someone should really get on that make an official post about it here.

The reds in that are gorgeous! They remind me a little of Dark Phoenix, which I adore.
It's Wonder Woman and very pretty, so I'm going to get it, but I don't like the face D: Her tiara looks like it's too much in proportion to the delicate features, and is closing down on it.

Hmm, I know it's Wonder Woman, but I kinda think the muscle definition on the legs really goes againsty the Bishoujo line's astheics. that' and the previously mentioned bellybutton on her belt...

Ooooh, I'm more of a Marvel person but this is really gorgeous! This is my favorite DC bishoujo so far. I really hope they make a X-23 or Lorna Dane bishoujo figures, but I'm pretty sure they have their eye on Elektra.

True. Maybe DC didn't allow Shunya to mess too much with the design(although it can't be worse than Ms. Half Jacket).
