Monster Hunter Airou x Hello Kitty plushes now available outside Japan

Many moons back, the Capcom-Unity blog  made a post about the wildest mashup since chocolate and peanut butter: Monster Hunter and Hello Kitty. Who would have thought that the dragon-slaying adventure game would lend itself to such cuteness? Monster Hunter fans know it can be credited to the felines (or Airou and Merarou) that share the game's world with your character (and occasionally cart off your beat-up carcass). The plushes featured in the blog post drew many a gamers' eye and may have even caused a tear of frustration to drop upon learning that these beauties would not be available outside of Japan.

Well, Monster Hunters, your prayers have been answered. For the first time, these puppies, err, kitties can be purchased online and shipped outside the Land of the Rising Sun. There are two plush designs available: Monster Hunter's brown Airou cosplaying as Hello Kitty and Hello Kitty dressing up as Airou. At a height of about 26 cm, both are too adorable for words, and they are available now for US$19.90 each.
