Mimushi Design's works are the coolest hand-crafted wood toys I've ever seen photo

I wish more artists made hand-crafted wooden toys, because then we'd get to post about these kind of things more often. Still, I guess I ought to be grateful for what's already out there, like Mimushi Design's exquisite handmade figures. Crafted by the hands of the Miami-based artist known at blattke, these wooden sumo are individually produced, meaning no two figures are the same. The boxes the figures come in are also handmade, and all of the wood used is renewable organic material, meaning they're very eco-friendly figures. It's a win-win for everyone!

Mimushi Designs is only able to make 80 of these a month, and only 119 are being made for the first series called Dauntless Gatekeepers. They're already on the next series, so if you want to pick one of the remaining wooden toys up from Dauntless Gatekeepers, head on over to their shop and check what's left out. Prices range from approximately US$225 to $375.
