Because Thanksgiving weekend doesn't have to be all about turkeys.

Mikie Graham's Zombie Art Project is lurching closer and closer to its gallery opening in Los Angeles's Toy Art Gallery on November 24. We saw a few of the custom pieces that will be on display previously at DesignerCon and even more are previewed on Mikie's tumblr page. However, those are mere morsels of what will be offered at the show. Mikie promises "a fun assortment of affordable single zombies, some more intricate midsize playsets, a GIANT 3ft x 3ft diorama, and some other MEGA surprises."

The show will run from November 24 to December 8, with an opening reception from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pacific on the night of the 24th. The reception will be a great opportunity to meet the artist himself. You can RSVP on the event's facebook page. Even if you can't make it to the opening night, toy fans in the Los Angeles should hit up Zombie Art Project while it's still in town. It looks to be one awesome show.
