Mecha seems to be getting the shaft this month in terms of brand-new announcements. For the plamo and mecha figure enthusiast, there isn't too much that you didn't know about coming from this month's mags. What we do have though are some more details about upcoming releases.
First up is the Master Grade of Gundam Aegis. We've talked about it prior and it's details are coming out more and more. The sculpt looks great, but I'd like to see how they're going to treat the blades and the transformation into the mobile armor mode. There's still time for that though as it won't be released until this October for 4,800 yen.
As for the rest of the lineup this month, there's a lot of re-do. The High Grade of the METEOR Unit from Gundam SEED will be getting a re-release on the Bandai Hobby Shop this October for 6,825 yen. As for why it's done, simply to cash in with the recent Real Grade kits of the Freedom and Justice. They did the same for the Gundam MkII and its accessories earlier this year. Speaking of Real Grades, the next kit in the line will be announced next month at the Gundam Front.
The rest of the lineup is essentially exclusives, whether it be events or solely for the web. A completely clear MG Blitz Gundam will be released for 4,000 yen at the C3 Hobby Show this year alongside the pair of metallic-coated HGUC of the Delta Plus for 4,000 yen and HG Gundam AGE-2 for 2,800 yen. Lastly, the White Dingo version of the HGUC GM Sniper II will be a Bandai Hobby Shop exclusive for 1,890 yen this September, however the kit will now come packed with a hover truck to justify the price increase.
There's more to come throughout the day, so stay tuned for more of this month's hobby scans.
