MegaHouse is giving Gintama a third chance with the master of mayonnaise

When MegaHouse announced that they would be releasing a standard scaled figure of Sakata Gintoki, the greatest hero of all time, of Japanese pop culture parody series Gintama, I exploded in a way that would be deemed way too inappropriate for even Tomopop standards. It made me even happier when MegaHouse announced a second run of Gin-san that will be coming out this April. I think I now want to marry the person who approved the next release.

On the flyer for the Gintoki re-release, a tiny silhouette was shown of a certain smoking, mayonnaise obsessed, otaku possessed, rival character. Why it is Mayora himself, vice-captain of the Shinsengumi, Hijikata Toshiro! Another one of those badasses who ruins his cool attitude with a bizarre quirk. If the pose of the silhouette is what the figure will look like then most likely he'll be smoking a cigarette with it. And hopefully he'll include a different arm holding a bottle of mayo.

No other details are available but as we draw closer to Gintoki's release, hopefully more news will surface. I for one will definitely keep you posted. I'll beat off the Tomopop staff to post the latest news on Hijikata first if I have to!
