MegaHobby Expo 2012 Autumn: A very unblurry Saber Cupoche

Ohhhh, the Saber-like object was Saber. That makes sense.

Some of you  might remember the recent U.S.O. (Unidentified Saber-like Object) sighting. I'm here to tell you that it's the policy of Tomopop to not neither confirm nor deny the possibility of... oh wait, it does seem to be a Saber Cupoche.

That's right, folks; a non-blurry sighting of the Saber-like Cupoche at MegaHobby Expo 2012 Autumn has confirmed that the object in question is, in fact, a Saber Cupoche. And a pretty great-looking one at that. While the character is displayed with a translucent Excalibur, the previous blurry photos suggest that Saber will come either a spirally add-on or a separate sword. Judging from the photo cut-outs beneath the figure, she also seems to come with a non-invisible Excalibur.

Saber, the heroine of Fate / Stay Night and Fate / Zero (among other titles), wages a never-ending war against Miku Hatsune for the title of the most overproduced Eastern character. Although it's a fight that she ultimately may be unable to win, fans no doubt win given that they can be very picky about their merchandise. For those of us who didn't like the non-lion suit Saber Nendoroids and were iffy on Kotobukiya's Saber PLAMO, we now have another chibi Saber option. I may have been strongly considering purchasing  the Saber Cupoche, but after seeing this photo I'm a bit more certain. How about you?
