Medicom's new RAH Unit 02 ready to deploy ... in May 2013

Medicom's latest Real Action Heroes figure from Rebuild of Evangelion is none other than Unit 02 ... which isn't a big surprise considering they've done Unit 01 in the past. But what is big is the size of this figure, almost 39 centimeters tall (about 12 inches). It also comes with a progressive knife, two palette rifles, umbilical cable, parts for attack pose including a core for Unit 02 to target, and a figure stand. Not to mention thongs like, for example, the multiple points of articulation or all the detailing on this beast.

Unit 02 won't come cheap at all: you're looking at a ¥23,620 (almost US$300) investment for a figure you won't see until May 2013. If you can afford the price and the wait, it's a gorgeous looking piece, but I'm out. I'm not a big enough of an Evangelion fan to spend that much on a single figure.
