Max Factory's Figma Blog previews Kirisame Marisa of Touhou Project photo

Hakurei Reimu and Kirisame Marisa of Touhou Project are popular. Because of that, they typically get first dibs in a new figure type. That is why it was only a matter of time that Marisa would follow in the footsteps of Reimu in Max Factory's line of Figma figures. The Figma Blog was updated recently with a look at what Marisa has to offer.

I never really had any thoughts about Marisa before. I've always been a Reimu person but the facial expressions Max Factory has given Marisa and the choice poses they shot have made think twice about this little lady. The big smile while holding the book sold me on this figure. I just can't figure out how they were able to attach the broom to her feet. Guess we'll learn once she's available.

Unfortunately, Marisa will be another store exclusive. However, I'm sure a certain friend of ours will be lending a hand.

MOAR Touhou Project:

Legacy Comments

Three things:
1) Already preordered.
2) TEACUP. HELL YES.
3) The broom can be attached to her feet via an alternate foot which has a clear plastic clip in the heel, according to HobbyJapan magazine.
Oh, now this will be my first figma.
I hate Touhou Project for the fact that it's a pain in the ass to order the figures. Thank god AmiAmi has most of them. But not this. D:

Still, she's good.

Otacute still has this Marisa open for preorders, if you're interested - from my experience, ordering from them is relatively painless...
This is amazingly good. Dammit, so many good Figma D:
I'm happy with my Reimu nendoroid since I couldn't grab the figma version :<
I like Touhou, but if I ever started collecting the figures I would be far more broke then I already am. At least Strike Witches puts out figures at a much more reasonable pace.
I want it sooooo bad.
@Neonie - Hehehe....heh... yeah... that pretty much sums up my life.
I love how they are releasing so many of the Touhou characters as figures! The Figma's and GoodSmile Nen's are too cute! Reimu Nen looks amazing!
MAN, I hate being broke. :(
