Max Factory and Good Smile Company announce their Figma and Nendoroid Photoshoot Competition photo

You may have noticed by now that some of the Tomopop staff are a little bit obsessed with taking photographs of their figures -- even me. If that desciption fits you perfectly, you may be interested in the recent announcement from Good Smile and Max Factory in regards to a pretty incredible photoshoot competition they are hosting through the 3rd of February.

The competition will be divided into a Figma competition and a Nendoroid competition. Entering is easy: just send your best photo (they can only be of Nendoroids or Figma) in online (go here). Each entrant can only submit a single photo. All entries will be shown off during the Wonderful Hobby Life For You event on February 14th and the public will vote on them to choose the winners.

Prizes such as a camera, a netbook and limited edition figures will go to the winners, including a special Figma and Nendoroid version of Hatsune Miku. This picture was posted on Mikatan blog, which appears to be a blond Miku!

There's nothing that indicates that interested fans outside Japan cannot enter, so if you want to give it your best shot, get to it -- you only have a few days. Best of luck to everyone, I cannot wait to see the winners from this!

MOAR Nendoroids:

Legacy Comments

Awesome! Too bad I lack all manner of creative/artistic ability and a decent camera :( Maybe I'll try anyways even though I only have a Haruhi figma and a Nendoroid Petit to work with... which I'm not sure even counts. :/
I think it does, ServantSaber...they both fall under the proper categories!
I'm totally going to enter in on the Figma one! :D I should bug Topher to do the Nendoroid one. :3
Wait, so I can enter both of them? The figma contest & the nendoroid contest. . .or do I have to pick only one contest out of the two? xD
@xKizo -- From what I understand you can enter one photo featuring either type of figure or both.
