MattyCollector apparently sucks at knowing my wants since their re-release sale that starts today (Monday, July 2nd at 12pm EST) doesn't even include The Enchantress, Optik, or Scareglow. Oh, Mattel, you really don't know me at all! However, there might be something for the rest of you in this sale which mostly encompasses the Masters of the Universe line.

The sale, entitled "SDCC’s Most-Wanted Sale" (because the site is doing it in honor of SDCC, not because it has this year's SDCC merch), features a reissue of the Ghostbusters PKE Meter (for US$70) then the following Masters of the Universe Classics figures:

-Gygor ~ US$33

You'll probably recognize a large chunk of it as being stuff that Matty couldn't offload in its blindbag sales (Mad Matty Mystery Monday), particularly Gygor and the Mo-Larr vs Skeletor 2pack (not sure how they expect to sell either at full price). In addition to those items, Matty will be offering a 10% discount on the site's always-available "essentials".  

This special promotion, which runs from July 2nd to the end of the month, won't preempt MattyCollector's scheduled July 16th sale. If you're thinking about taking advantage of the minor price cut on the essentials and you're planning on getting one of the July 16th sale items you'd probably be best off buying both at the same time to save on shipping. However, I imagine that some of the re-releases may sell out before then.
