MattyCollector hits both club targetsFear has apparently once more proven a powerful motivator. Well, that or Mattel tricked us yet again. We had recently learned that Club Eternia was in mortal peril (well, in trouble anyway) due to flagging subscription rates. Subscriptions may have finally closed the other day but ToyArk has apparently already found out the results from Mattel's brand manager, Scott Neitlich. And the results are apparently rather good. Crediting a last minute rush started by the community, Neitlich claims that Club Eternia is now at 135% of its target and Club Infinite Earths has hit its goal as well. He continues by mentioning that the fan's choice winner is Geldor whom will be receiving a figure come next November. Were these clubs ever actually in peril? Who knows. The only thing we can tell you for certain is that the lines are apparently still going strong despite rate hikes and occasionally questionable selections which I suppose beats cancellation. For the full story, check out Neitlich's official announcement: Speaking of fear mongering, the early results on Miss Martian / Superboy pre-order aren't good. The finally uploaded meter shows that the pre-order is around a third of the target. Maybe they'll also get a miraculous last-minute rush... Did you know?
