Matty to throw 'party pak' for He-Man's 30th birthday
Matty Collector has announced that it plans to celebrate He-Man's 30th anniversary with a special "party pak" offer on October 12th. For US$30, fans will be able to purchase a He-Man and Battle Cat set for just US$30 (or, in other words, less than it costs to buy Battle Cat individually). The "pack", so to speak, consists of the normal single-carded figures rather than some sort of a special configuration (so those hoping for a 2-pack with special box or a variant are out of luck). As such, the promotion likely won't appeal to existing Battle Cat owners. However, this is a great opportunity for those who haven't picked up a copy of this highly praised figure since it comes with a He-Man as well. The sale starts at 12 p.m. EST on October 12th (or 72 hours from the time this was posted) and will run until either the end of the day or when the supply runs out.
