Matty Collector 'gift pack' sale tomorrow

Dec 05 // Scarecroodle

And yet all I want from Matty for Christmas is a Sorceress

(Note: Figures in the header are clearly not to scale. Movie Masters figures (like Ghostbusters ones) are significantly smaller than Masters)

While Matty Collector has yet to post its monthly sale, it appears that the site will be running a special "Gift Pak" [sic] sale starting tomorrow at 12 p.m. EST (9 a.m. pacific). Each pack has a name and theme, suck as the “Heroic Secret Identity” pack (featuring Prince Adam (& Orko), He-Man, and Battle-Armor Skeletor).

The two Masters of the Universe Classics packs both feature three figures despite different sale prices (US$50 and US$55). The three Ghostbusters packs each contain two characters and a US$35 price point. All of the selected figures are previous releases and I believe all have had a few reissues at this point. While the price is lower than buying the characters individually (a savings made more substantial by the rate hikes this year), I'd still hesitate at calling these a great value. If you missed some of the more uncommon figures (like Walter Peck and Vinz Clortho), this might be a good opportunity to pick them up. Otherwise it's probably worth skipping.
