Just like how there seems to be no end in sight for WWE's television programming, there may be no end to WWE's line of action figures. No matter whose hands it is in, these athletes will continue to fill store shelves. Whether they warm the shelves or not is another story.
The Defining Moments line enters its fourth wave and features the Undertaker from the Survivor Series 1996 and Stone Cold Steve Austin from the March 22, 1999 episode of RAW. What's the significance for such a date? It's the day that Austin drove a beer truck down to the ring and hosed down the Rock, Shane, and Vince with said beer. Oh, Austin. You and your wacky, rebellious antics. As for the Undertaker, I don't remember that Survivor Series where he played Batman. For me, that would be a defining moment I would want to forget.
The other series coming is a continuation of their basic series. The 11th wave will be featuring the Big Show, Eve Torres, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, and Skip Sheffield. Poor fellow. Shelved during such a big angle and now he has not so flattering action figure. Speaking of which, what's up with the wig on Eve's figure? Seriously, that split between her head and hair looks horrible. Sure, they are action figures but even I have my limits.
Look for these figures to hit store shelves later this year. Any Superstar you see becoming a part of your wrestling roster when these figures come out?
