Marvel Select celebrates 10 years, chance to win stuffThe Marvel Select line is now ten years old (just think: 8 more years and it'll be able to vote! And smoke!) and, to celebrate this momentous occasion, Diamond Select Toys will be giving away over 21 Marvel Select figures to 1 lucky winner (why 21? No idea). The prize includes a decent assortment of figures from across the line's history and includes essentials like modern Thor, Hulk, and so forth as well as some movie figures. If things from the line's past and present aren't enough for you, the selection also includes something from the line's future in the form of the not-yet-available Ultron. Oh, plus there's an unboxed, unmasked Deadpool and a Green Goblin prototype. So really that's more like 24 figures which, again, has no significance pertaining to a decade of DST bringing us decent-quality Marvel figures (by the way, if you're on Jeopardy and they ask what was the first Marvel Select figure then you can tell them the answer is Ultimate Spider-Man. As such, I'm entitled to some of the money you might win on that question). How do you win? By entering. How do you enter? By posting one of their contest photos (also in gallery) to your Facebook, Google Plus, YouTube, Pinterest, and/or Twitter page then sending a direct link to your post to collectdst@gmail.com. From those entries one random winner will be Marvel selected to get all of these cool prizes. It would appear you can enter multiple times but you need a U.S. address to win. The winner will be notified on August 17th. While I don't really understand all this newfangled social media whatchamacallits I'll be sure to at least *try* to enter. Will you? Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
