Marvel Legends Deadpool is back in black... and red

The X-Force Deadpool will be be getting his expected standard-colored variant in wave 3 of Hasbro's Marvel Legends line. Despite being an intuitive variant that was assumed would accompany his X-Force version, this Deadpool wasn't listed in either the initial BBTS pre-order (which also omitted the Doctor Doom variant) and was either missed or not present at the SDCC booth leading some to believe he wasn't going to be in the wave.

However, when ToyArk posted the official product images (which they received from Past Generation Toys) the variant was clearly among them. Hasbro seems to have gone pretty heavy with the shading in places but the figure otherwise looks decent enough. I imagine that both Deadpool figures are a reuse of the mold from the previous 2-pack with Warpath which I vaguely recall as not having either foot pivot or ankle rockers (having a standard joint instead). Besides that it should still be a worthwhile addition to any collection lacking Deadpool in his usual colors.

As previously mentioned, Wave 3 will be the first wave to NOT feature a build-a-figure since Hasbro took over the Marvel Legends brand. Instead it looks like we'll be getting generic stands (like those include with the 6-inch Wal-mart exclusive Avengers figures and upcoming 6-inch Spider-Man figures) which is a first for the Marvel Legends line in general.

Custom Made Monday: It's a me, Mario

Well, it's almost time for E3, so I guess Custom Made Monday ought to get with the times and showcase a little bit of gaming-themed customs. Of course, I say a little bit because there's others that draw their inspiration from movies, and yet others from food and piracy. Not the online kind. I'd suggest hopping past the jump to check them out ... because you really can't otherwise, can you?
